How to mint ENS
Minting is the process of creating a new non-fungible token (NFT). An NFT is a unique digital asset that represents ownership of a specific item, such as artwork or collectible.
To mint an NFT, you will need to follow these steps:
- 2.You will be redirected to app.protocol.art and there in the main menu connect your wallet.
- 3.After you have connected your wallet in the search box to find the desired domain name. If the name is free, it will be written in green and say "available." If the name is not free, you will see the address who own.
You will be able to mint only emoji or emoji combinations with Latin letters (A-Z), digits (0-9) and hyphens (-) to create unique ENS
- 5.You clicked on the desired name, and then a window opens where you can select how many years you want to buy the domain for and what price you will pay.
If you have a free mint, it will be displayed in this window, along with the number of characters you can mint. The free mint is valid for only one year, so if you select a three-year option, you will be charged for two years.
IMPORTANT: You have one chance to use your free mint. If you cancel the transaction or do not have enough funds, the free mint will disappear and return in 1 hour. Please be careful.
- 6.Once you have made all the selections, clicking on the "Register" button will connect you to the selected wallet, where you will need to confirm the transaction. Congratulations, you are now the owner of the .art domain. 🎉
